Matulick Music

I am an instrumental music teacher. I teach voice at all ages and levels of experience, beginner to intermediate piano, and also teach some students who are purely interested in song-writing or other areas of musicianship. I began my teaching journey in 2019. Before this time I had been singing for many years, primarily in the musical theatre discipline. I possessed strong musicianship, and a sound understanding of the physiological nature of the voice. I have since learnt Kodaly teaching methodology, and many ways to explain core concepts of singing. Throughout my teaching experience, I’ve had the opportunity of working with students of a variety of abilities and ages. I continue to teach a variety of students, and have been growing greatly in both my singing, and teaching proficiencies. I am currently studying the Bachelor of Music (Education and Pedagogy - Classical Voice). All the while, I endeavour to always be developing my teaching portfolio, acquiring resources, and learning more about as many teaching methodologies as possible to best differentiate my teaching for each student. I love teaching voice, piano, and music; I love working with my students, and seeing them grow their musicality, and their confidence.
